What we did
On Friday
- We met participants and had scrumptious pizza.
- What is service design? Cameron Tomkinwise and Thomas Mueller provided expert advice and gave participants food for thought to start off their weekend.
- At 7pm we discovered what the 2012 Global Service Jam theme was: hidden treasure! Participants opened their fortune cookies and found out what teams they were in.
On Saturday
- This was the big work day! The Siegel+Gale offices were participants’ home base, where they worked and started crafting ideas. Many teams went outside into the Real World to conduct research, observe people and validate their ideas.
- We connected with lots of other Global Service Jam teams during the weekend – we had a spontaneous skype meeting with the teams in Aberdeen, Scotland!
On Sunday
- The teams worked hard to finalize their projects before the 3:00pm deadline.
- We saw a wide range of creative ideas and creative presentations, including great movies, skits, and puppet shows!
- Celebratory drinks at McManus! Cheers to a wonderful weekend.
